Congrats Julia Allen, Our First Mia Kanu Foundation Memorial Scholarship Winner!

Julia Allen Accepts The First Annual MKF Memorial Scholarship

We are so pleased to announce Julia Allen of Canton High School as the recipient of our 2024 Mia Kanu Foundation Memorial Scholarship.

Applicants were asked to write an essay about a coach who made a real difference in their lives, and Julia wrote about her basketball coach, Kayla Bridges. Julia will attend the University of Wisconsin in the Fall to pursue an Animal Studies/Pre-Vet degree. 

 We wish her all the best and look forward to following her journey!  Congrats, Julia!
